The chamois is a species of goat-antelope that runs and jumps gracefully and efficiently even on the most inaccessible slopes. It has been the inspiration for the name of our start-up- El Camös. We pay homage to the Brescia dialect, the land where our company is headquartered, with an international twist. El Camös was founded in 2021 by sculptor and designer Edoardo Ferrari and entrepreneur Alberto Martinelli. A winning synergy between different souls united by their passion for the two wheels, dirt roads, and challenges.

He developed his first projects in the ’90s by blending art and techniques, and going beyond the limits of physics. From the first prototype until today, the frames he created have achieved considerable successes- from the DH World Cup to the Compasso d’Oro (Golden Compass) awarded by the ADI (Italian Association for Industrial Design), which is a proof of what Edoardo Ferrari wants to merge in his projects: technology, functionality, performance, originality, and beauty.
The suspension systems and kinematic systems that he created, in particular, the 1998 the virtual fulcrum with two connecting rods, have always proved to be high performing and topical over time, when revisited, they created trends among the leading companies in the sector.
ALBERTO MARTINELLI
Entrepreneur and Edo’s friend; together, they share dreams and passions. Working in full synergy with Edo’s artistic personality, he contributed his own managerial experience, as well as an innovative and solid vision to provide a design approach and guarantee resources to the El Camös brand.
