The El Camos 05 was born from the necessity to find the best performance compromise between the descent and the ascent. The particular constructive care and attention to detail characterize this valuable product. The directional shape of the tip and tail enhances agility on the steepest slopes and the sidecut radius, combined with a medium-stiff flex, gives good cornering even on compact snow. Very reactive and fast in edge changes, it has a marked rocker in the nose which favors flotation in powder snow. Particular attention was focused to the ascent phase, where the deep V-shaped bevel at the tip allows the sections not to get stuck in the icy tracks and the perfect centering of the tips make the split particularly comfortable and balanced in inversions. The skin connection system, derived from the race, makes the up/down transition phase particularly quick and effective.
